Marketing Manager 🦄

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in defining NaviSavi’s marketing plan and managing the full P&L. Reporting to the Founder and CEO, you’ll help us build a thriving community of avid travelers, acquire users through paid and unpaid channels, build a robust SEO-friendly blog, and manage partnerships that will help us scale our user base. As we go live with the new version of the app, you’ll be our performance gatekeeper ensuring healthy metrics for both acquisition and retention.

We’re all digital nomads, so you can choose where you want to work from in the world and join our occasional group trips in exotic and fun destinations.

Responsibilities 🧐

  • Manage all Marketing channels and NaviSavi’s website to ensure a vibrant and consistent look and feel, while always optimizing for performance.

  • Build a community of avid travelers. We believe our true value goes beyond just an app!

  • Manage the Marketing P&L, including frequent budgeting and forecasting and weekly reporting on main KPIs.

  • Oversee a Content & Community Manager initially, and grow the team as needed over time (or subcontract to agencies if applicable).

  • Become the in-house customer journey expert and optimize conversions through email, push notifications, and other channels.

  • Manage paid ads on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and test audiences and ideas to constantly reduce customer acquisition costs. 

  • Collaborate with other team members on an ongoing basis to bring strategic partnerships to life.

  • Keep an eye on marketing-related opportunities and come up with sustaining growth hacks! We’re a small startup, so half of your job would also be to take initiative on finding new ways to grow and retain users.

  
Qualifications  🔮

  • First and foremost, you’re a jack of all trades and you derive passion from owning the development of a brand and marketing channels.

  • You have 3-5 years of proven success in building a brand and scaling a user base. 

  • You have strong analytical and communications skills. As a first Marketing hire, you need to be creative and also data-driven.

  • You are disciplined and detail oriented, and you love keeping weekly reports of your data, performance and customer behavior.

  • You don’t have to be a designer, but you’re willing to learn how to use Canva to bring your ideas to life (we already have some simple templates).

  • You have a natural inclination for excellence and a reputation for producing results.

  • You’re an entrepreneur at heart and thrive in ambiguity. Your aha moments happen when you put all your skills to work to solve problems!

  • Experience building a team is a plus.
